Homemade 6 ingredient Graham Crackers

We have been switching up a ton of things in our home, especially the ingredients we buy. I’ve really started watching what my boys have for snacks, and have been avoiding snacks with ingredients I can’t even say.

This was my first time making homemade Graham crackers, and they were just so easy. These ones are only 6 ingredients, and take only about 10-15 minutes to bake!

Graham Crackers

Ingredients:

•2 sticks of butter, I use Kerry gold, softened

•1 Cup brown sugar

•2 large eggs

•2 Teaspoons baking powder

1 Teaspoon vanilla

3 cups flour of choice, I used Kamut flour

Instructions:

1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place softened butter, and sugar into a mixer, or mix in a medium bowl with a hand mixer.

2.) Once mixed, add in baking powder, vanilla, and both eggs.

3.) Add in flour one cup at a time.

4.) Mix until coming off sides, and a playdough texture. Place dough on floured surface, or parchment paper.

5.) Roll out dough into a large rectangle. Make sure to make the thickness you would like for these, they don’t rise.

6.) Using a knife cut squares, and add fork holes on the top of each to look like a Graham cracker.

7.) Line on a parchment lined cooking sheet, leaving a gap between each square. I had to bake mine in two rounds.

8.) Bake for 10-15 minutes. Let get a slight tint of golden but not much. You can add cinnamon to the top before baking too!

Let cool, and enjoy!
