Fall Themed Charcuterie Date Night IN

If you are parents to young kids, you understand how hard it is to get a date night night out. A lot of factors like babysitters, clingy phases, and so much more can get in the way of making it happen. Why not make it a date night in?! My husband and I love a good wine, and to pair it with a cute cheese, and meat board is just the topping of it all. I found all our items between Natural Grocers, and Walmart!

What you need:

1-3 cheeses, its best to choose one soft, one hard, and one just extra fun one!

  • Soft cheese-Brie triangles, I got this from Walmart
  • Hard Cheese- Parmesan & Gouda ( Rumiano Brand)- both from Natural grocers
  • Fun- I made little ghosts out of white sharp cheddar cheese with a ghost cookie cutter. White cheddar from Walmart, and cutter from Amazon.

Hard Cheese-

1-3 meats, we like a variety!

  • Salami, I bought uncured from Natural Grocers True Story Brand
  • Prosuitto, uncured from Natural Grocers True Story Brand
  • Jalapeño Summer Sausage, uncured from Natural Grocers, Organic Prairie

1-3 fruits and veggies

  • Blueberries, Natural Grocers
  • Green Olives, Natural Grocers brand

1-2 jellies, and some type of fun dip

  • Jalapano Jelly, Natural Grocers- Country Rhoads
  • Raw Honey drizzled

Add in your choice of crackers, and more

  • Parmesan Cheese Whisp chips, Walmart or Thrive Market
  • Round Crackers, Natural Grocers, Back to Basics brand

How I make a board:

Start with a tray, or wood board.

I add cute cups. For this board I added olives to one, rolled salami in another cup, and placed the jelly in another dish.

Place your cups on the board first, and place everything else around them.

I usually place the cheeses, and meats first. The fruit, and chips around the sides to not get soggy.

Add in festive toothpicks, or spoons to make it all come together.

I kept it in the fridge until we were ready to enjoy it, and drizzled the honey last on the ghost cheeses.

Add your favorite wine, we have been loving all the organic red wine brands from Thrive Market lately.

Be on the lookout for a fun kid board coming soon! Also linking all on my like to know it that I can
